THE FUTURE OF THE DEEP RIVER COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION (DRCA)
UPDATE 25 October 2020
Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions the DRCA is postponing the town hall until further notice. Once the committee is aware of a date this page will be updated.
At the January 29, 2020 AGM of the Deep River Community Association
Incorporated (DRCA), the members discussed the ramifications of the fact that the DRCA could no longer provide group insurance for the member clubs. Questions were raised regarding the DRCA’s relevance and future roles.
Recognizing that the AGM was not the best forum for a question of such importance, the DRCA Board of Director’s President, Steve D’Eon, promised the members (and the general public) that a workshop would be organized in the near future to address the issue of the Association’s evolving identity.
That DRCA organized a town-hall workshop and was ready to schedule it when the COVID-19 pandemic shut everything down.
The DRCA Board of Directors wish to assure all DRCA club members and the general public that the workshop will proceed as soon as it is safe. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Steven D’Eon at drcapresident@gmail.com
