The Deep River Christmas Tree Lighting all-day event is taking place in and around the Town Hall, starting at 10:00 a.m., with many activities, music, food, craft vendors and much more! And our “Trim the Tree” event will be joining in on this fun-filled day!

You can join the fun of the Hospital Foundation’s “Trim the Tree” community event in two ways -

1) Rally your interest group to raise funds, through donations or otherwise, to purchase a decoration and recognize your support of our local hospital.

2) Encourage individual members of your interest group to support the event, in the spirit of the season, or in remembrance or in honour of a loved one.

The Town’s Outdoor Christmas Tree will be decorated with a variety of decorations. You can “purchase” one of these decorations, through a donation to the DRDHF, in the spirit of giving during the Christmas Season. There will be a “representative” DRDHF Tree located in the Town Hall Lobby to acknowledge your generosity. Donations of $20 or more will receive a charitable donation receipt.

Three types of decorations are available –

$10 for a bell, $20 for a ball, and $100 for a snowflake.

Donations for the Trim the Tree decorations can be made at the DRDH Foundation Office or at the Hospital’s reception, and all day at the Town Hall as part of the “Light up the Night”.

You can also donate online at: www.drdfoundation.com and state “Trim the Tree”, including who the donation is in memory or in honour of. We will acknowledge your donation on the tree in Town Hall. Donations gratefully accepted by cash or cheque (payable to DRDH Foundation).
